With over 29 years of dedicated training and teaching experience, he has become a leading figure in the preservation and promotion of Indian traditional arts within the Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pahang, Putrajaya & Perak (Malaysia). As the driving force behind the Best Empire Silambam Academy, he is committed to empowering the next generation through discipline, physical fitness, and cultural heritage. Moreover, Master Kalisvaran took responsibilities as a Pahang state coach for SUKMA 2022
MASTER THILAGAWATHY BALRAM
is a dedicated Silambam practitioner and a cornerstone of the Best Empire Silambam Academy instructional team. Known for her technical precision and approachable teaching style, she plays a vital role in managing the academy’s operations and student outreach throughout the Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pahang, Putrajaya & Perak (Malaysia). With a passion for preserving traditional Indian martial arts, Master Thilagawathy focuses on making Silambam accessible to practitioners of all ages and skill levels. Moreover, she took responsibilities as a Pahang state coach for SUKMA 2022
MASTER DARSHINI MEENA ARUMUGAM
is a dynamic and skilled Silambam instructor at Best Empire Silambam Academy. With a strong focus on technical mastery and youth development, she has become a central figure in the academy's mission to revive traditional martial arts in modern Malaysia. As a primary coordinator for the 2026 Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pahang, Putrajaya & Perak (Malaysia) New Intake, Master Meena is dedicated to fostering a disciplined yet inclusive environment where students can thrive physically and mentally. Moreover, She is coaching the Sarawak State SUKMA Athletes for the past 5 years (2022-2026).
MASTER ANANDHA KRISHNAN RAJENDRAN
Master Anandha Krishnan is a highly skilled Silambam practitioner and a senior member of the Best Empire Silambam Academy instructional team. With an unwavering commitment to the technical foundations of the art, he plays a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of discipline and physical excellence that the academy is known for. As a lead coordinator for the 2026 Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pahang, Putrajaya & Perak (Malaysia) New Intake, Master Anandha is dedicated to shaping the next generation of martial artists through rigorous training and traditional values. Moreover, he was one of the coaches for Sarawak State SUKMA Athletes in 2022 and for Pahang State SUKMA Athletes in 2024-2026.
MASTER SARANYAA NARAYHANASAAMY
is a dedicated and highly skilled Silambam practitioner and instructor, recognized for her commitment to preserving and promoting this ancient Indian martial art. As a key leadership figure within the Best Empire Silambam Academy, she has played a pivotal role in training a new generation of practitioners across Rawang. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes not only the physical mastery of the bamboo staff and traditional weaponry but also the development of mental discipline, cultural pride, and physical fitness among her students. Through her involvement in large-scale events like the Silambam Mega Demonstration and the academy’s annual intakes, Master Saranyaa has established herself as a mentor who balances rigorous traditional techniques with a modern approach to martial arts education. Moreover, Master Saranyaa is a national athlete and creating her own legacy by representing the Pahang state for SUKMA 2026.
