MASTER KALISVARAN RAJAGOPAL is a distinguished practitioner and educator of Silambam, the ancient Indian martial art. With over 29 years of dedicated training and teaching experience, he has become a leading figure in the preservation and promotion of martial arts in Malaysia, particularly through the Best Empire Silambam Academy. Master Kalisvaran is committed to empowering the next generation through Silambam training, discipline, physical fitness, and cultural heritage. Moreover, he took on responsibilities as a Pahang state coach for SUKMA 2022.
MASTER THILAGAWATHY BALRAM is a dedicated Silambam practitioner and an integral part of the Best Empire Silambam Academy's instructional team. Known for her technical precision and approachable teaching style, she plays a vital role in managing the operations of this leading academy and fostering student outreach across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pahang, Putrajaya, and Perak in Malaysia. With a passion for preserving traditional Indian martial arts, Master Thilagawathy is committed to making Silambam training accessible to practitioners of all ages and skill levels. Additionally, she served as a Pahang state coach for SUKMA 2022.
MASTER DARSHINI MEENA ARUMUGAM is a dynamic and skilled Silambam instructor at the Best Empire Silambam Academy. With a strong focus on technical mastery and youth development, she has become a central figure in the academy's mission to revive traditional martial arts in Malaysia. As the primary coordinator for the 2026 Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pahang, Putrajaya & Perak New Intake, Master Meena is dedicated to fostering a disciplined yet inclusive environment where students can excel in their Silambam training both physically and mentally. Additionally, she has been coaching the Sarawak State SUKMA Athletes for the past 5 years (2022-2026).
Master Anandha Krishnan is a highly skilled Silambam practitioner and a senior member of the Best Empire Silambam Academy instructional team. With an unwavering commitment to the technical foundations of the art, he plays a pivotal role in upholding the high standards of discipline and physical excellence that characterize the Best Empire Silambam Academy. As a lead coordinator for the 2026 intake across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pahang, Putrajaya, and Perak in Malaysia, Master Anandha is dedicated to shaping the next generation of martial artists through rigorous Silambam training and traditional values. Additionally, he served as one of the coaches for the Sarawak State SUKMA Athletes in 2022 and for the Pahang State SUKMA Athletes from 2024 to 2026.
MASTER SARANYAA NARAYHANASAAMY is a dedicated and highly skilled Silambam practitioner and instructor, recognized for her commitment to preserving and promoting this ancient Indian martial art within the Best Empire Silambam Academy. As a key leadership figure in the academy, she has played a pivotal role in training a new generation of practitioners across Rawang in martial arts Malaysia. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes not only the physical mastery of the bamboo staff and traditional weaponry but also the development of mental discipline, cultural pride, and physical fitness among her students through effective Silambam training. Through her involvement in large-scale events like the Silambam Mega Demonstration and the academy’s annual intakes, Master Saranyaa has established herself as a mentor who balances rigorous traditional techniques with a modern approach to martial arts education. Moreover, Master Saranyaa is a national athlete and is creating her own legacy by representing the Pahang state for SUKMA 2026.
